The Ultimate GP Ballhead from Acratech is a precision-machined, compact ballhead with a load capacity of 25 lb. It fits standard 3/8″-16 tripod mounts but can be adapted to 1/4″-20 with an appropriate bushing. This head has the ability to function as a gimbal head for use with lenses up to 400mm f4, negating the need for a gimbal attachment. The Ultimate GP can be used upside-down as a leveling and panning head. Additionally – the base features engraved degree markings for shooting precise panoramic images.
