AKG DPT800 Digital Wireless Bodypack Transmitter
The DPT800 is a compact, lightweight bodypack transmitter engineered for capturing clean wireless audio in studio sessions, remote recording setups, and multi-channel tracking applications. Its ergonomic form factor—measuring 82 × 65 × 28 mm and weighing just 150 g—mounts discreetly on talent without bulk or cable noise, while the integrated charging contacts allow quick two-hour turnarounds between takes and session blocks.
Wireless Performance & Frequency Flexibility
Operating across two selectable bands (550.1–662.9 MHz and 730.1–831.9 MHz), the DPT800 delivers an ultra-wide switching bandwidth of up to 150 MHz, making it ideal for multi-track recording sessions where frequency coordination prevents interference and maintains pristine RF isolation. Switchable radio output power—10 or 20 mW ERP maximum, depending on region and application—optimizes signal integrity without unnecessary power drain, preserving battery life across full tracking days.
Audio Input & Signal Security
The three-pin mini XLR audio input accepts any AKG lavalier, headset, or instrument microphone and provides 5V bias voltage with three gain settings (0 dB, +10 dB, +20 dB) for precise level matching into your interface or mixer. 512-bit encryption technology protects against signal interception, while remote infrared programming from the paired DSR800 receiver eliminates the need for manual setup and enables mute control via an optional external switch during overdubs or live-to-tape sessions.
