AKG WMS40 Mini Single Vocal Set Wireless Microphone System – Band A
The WMS40 Mini delivers wireless vocal capture with a lightweight handheld transmitter designed for natural handling during extended tracking and live sessions. The cardioid dynamic capsule captures vocal presence and warmth while rejecting feedback and room noise, letting vocals cut through a mix with clarity and definition. This is a straightforward wireless solution built for reliability—ideal for home studio recording, overdub sessions, live-to-tape performance capture, or any application where professional sound quality and simple operation matter more than elaborate features.
Wireless Performance & Range
Operating on Band A (537.500 MHz), this system stays interference-free across most indoor recording spaces and live venues without complicated frequency coordination. The ultra-compact receiver mounts easily with its 1/4″ jack output, integrating seamlessly into existing studio mixer inputs and audio interfaces.
Power & Runtime
A single AA battery powers the handheld transmitter for a continuous 30 hours of performance, eliminating battery management during full studio sessions, multi-take recording runs, or back-to-back live recording captures. The included universal switched-mode power supply handles worldwide electrical standards, making this system equally at home in any studio environment or region.
