Sophomore album from Catherine Wheel repressed. The UK band originally dropped Chrome in 1993 as the follow-up to their breakout debut Ferment. Here Catherine Wheel perfects the metallic shoegaze vibes first revealed on Ferment, evolving from dream pop to a harder rock sound. Fans of the CW’s first release will find the same atmospheric and melodic elements in Chrome, only intensified.
