ESP E-II Eclipse QM Electric Guitar Reindeer Blue B-Stock
The E-II Eclipse QM is engineered for studio tracking and session work, delivering the refined playability and responsiveness that defines ESP’s professional-grade instruments. A Thin U neck contour paired with an ebony fingerboard and 22 extra-jumbo frets creates a fast, comfortable platform for extended technique work and layered recording passes. The set-neck construction and mahogany body with quilted maple top provide solid sustain and tonal foundation ideal for both recording and mixing contexts, while the exclusive Reindeer Blue finish—a return of an ESP favorite—distinguishes this Tokyo-built instrument visually and captures distinctive character in the mix.
Playability & Construction
Built at the ESP factory in Tokyo, this guitar features a mahogany set neck with a Thin U contour and 305mm radius ebony fingerboard, optimized for speed and ergonomics across the entire fretboard during long studio sessions. The 24.75″ scale, 42mm bone nut, and Gotoh locking tuners ensure stability and intonation retention through extended takes and overdub work, while Dunlop locking strap buttons provide consistent positioning between recording passes.
Tone & Electronics
The paired EMG 60 (neck) and EMG 81 (bridge) pickups in Brushed Black Chrome deliver the clarity and articulation characteristic of active electronics, sitting distinctly in dense arrangements and controlled through a 2x Volume, 1x Tone, Toggle Switch layout for quick tonal shaping between takes. A Gotoh GE103B-T TOM bridge with GE101Z tailpiece anchors the tone with precision hardware that resists detuning during recording sessions and maintains consistent sustain across multiple tracks.
