The Dance Abilities EP finds the duo further honing their original production chops and explores subtle nuance to epic proportions. “Dance Ability” is a 10-minute ascending journey through space and time that phase shifts and drifts with zero gravity guitars for the full A-side. On the flip, “Dancity” soundtracks a snake charmer’s sideshow with hypnotic croons draped over swirling layers of pads and a mesmerizing horn. “Dancenergy” rounds out the wax with a punchy piledriver that sets its sights on the floor with rugged chug and tingling synths.
