Ruina Versio is a powerful 10HP Eurorack stereo distortion module built for everything from controlled saturation to complete sonic destruction. Its flexible processing chain combines wavefolding, full-wave rectification, multiband saturation, phase manipulation, notch filtering, and suboctave generation in a single compact module.

The Fold control applies aggressive wavefolding, while 8vize uses full-wave rectification to create octave-like harmonic effects. Drive and Center shape a four-band saturation stage, allowing you to emphasize different frequency ranges and sculpt the character of the distortion. The Phase control adds stereo width and phasing movement, even when processing a mono input.

The DOOM control introduces an unstable suboctave chorus that becomes increasingly detuned and harmonically complex as it is raised. Three routing modes rearrange the internal effects chain, offering progressively more extreme processing options. A switchable notch filter can remain fixed at 1kHz or track the Center control for animated frequency shaping.

For immediate impact, the Smoosh button adds 128dB of gain and can also be triggered externally for rhythmic bursts of extreme distortion. A Blend control provides continuous dry and wet mixing, making it easy to preserve transients or run the module fully processed.

As part of the Versio DSP platform, the module can also be loaded with other compatible Versio firmware through its USB connection.
