Sound & Tone
Mahogany body and neck give this seven-string a thick, weighty low end, while the ebony fretboard and Lundgren M7 humbuckers keep the attack tight and articulate rather than muddy. The 26.5″ scale holds the low B firm and defined, and the TonePros bridge with string-thru body construction adds sustain, so palm-muted riffing stays percussive and lead lines ring out clearly. With independent volume controls, a push-pull tone and 3-way switching, it covers modern metal and progressive rock rhythm work as well as cleaner, more nuanced passages.
Schecter C-7 Blackjack Guitar Gloss Black
The C-7 Blackjack captures articulate, sustained tones across the extended 7-string range, anchored by a meticulously crafted neck and balanced mahogany body that tracks every nuance in your playing dynamic. The smooth ebony fretboard responds equally to aggressive, percussive attack and delicate fingerstyle articulation. Dual Lundgren M7 pickups deliver clarity and definition that cut through dense mixes without sacrificing harmonic complexity, making this instrument a true workhorse for studio tracking, composition, and overdub sessions. The refined voice rewards both high-gain applications and cleaner, tonally sophisticated recording scenarios.
Playability & Recording Responsiveness
The thin ‘C’ neck profile measures .787″ at the first fret and .866″ at the 12th, enabling precise fret access and consistent articulation during long tracking takes. The 24 X-Jumbo stainless steel frets with 12″-16″ compound radius accommodate both aggressive picking techniques and extended legato passages without dead spots or string buzz. The 26.5″ scale length and Ultra Access deep insert joint eliminate fretting obstacles on the highest strings, while the gloss black finish facilitates smooth hand movement during extended studio sessions without binding or resistance.
Tone & Electronics for Mixing Flexibility
Dual Lundgren M7 pickups (bridge and neck) deliver articulate, sustained tones with clear definition across the extended range, controlled by independent volume controls, tone with push-pull switching, and a 3-way selector for tonal flexibility. The TonePros T3BT TOM bridge with string-thru body design maximizes sustain and tuning stability across all seven strings, ensuring consistent intonation throughout your session work.
