Side Slippin’

Here is a clever blues tune written in a medium swing style. The melody features some half-step “slippin'” around played by full ensemble. Solo sections are also provided for any sax and any brass instrument. A fun way to introduce swing style and also the blues! Enjoy great flexibility with the Discovery Jazz series! Playable with 3 saxes, 2 trumpets, 1 trombone, piano and drums; includes optional parts for flute, clarinet, F horn and tuba.
