Syndicate is the most ambitious and collaborative album yet from acclaimed synth-pop duo The Midnight. Marking their fifth studio LP and first release with Ultra, the 17-track opus blends widescreen sonic imagination with raw emotional weight, crafted over two years by singer/songwriter Tyler Lyle and producer Tim McEwan. Featuring collaborations with Bonnie McKee, Carpenter Brut, and Jupiter Winter, Syndicate revisits the band’s shimmering synthwave roots while pushing into bold new territory. Framed by a loose narrative of a future Earth long gone, it’s a transmission of memory, loss, and transcendence — a deeply human album forged in a season of heartbreak and hope.
