18″ HHX COMPLEX ESPRESSIVO SINGLE

Sabian 18″ HHX Complex Espressivo Single

The 18″ HHX Complex Espressivo captures a distinctly dark, complex response with refined articulation across dynamic playing ranges. These hand cymbals combine sophisticated hammering techniques that produce rich lows and nuanced tonal complexity, making them recording-ready instruments for overdubbing, layering, and ensemble sessions alike.

Hammering & Tonal Character for Recording

Built using a combination of HH and HHX hammering with a raw hammered bell, this cymbal achieves one of the richest and sweetest tonal profiles in SABIAN’s hand cymbal lineup. The layered hammering approach brings out deep lows and harmonic complexity that cut through mixes with controlled, expressive playing and translate beautifully under close mic techniques.
