SABIAN Striker Set w/Bag
The SABIAN Striker Set provides a precision toolkit for recording and mixing percussion, pitched metal, and textural elements in the studio. Each striker sits balanced and responsive in hand, with the rubber insulator engineered to cut unwanted vibration dampening and preserve the full metallic resonance of your instruments. This is a working set built for repeatable, controlled strikes on pitched percussion and metal surfaces—essential for layering orchestral textures, adding shimmer to mixes, or capturing experimental percussion in post-production.
Design & Build Quality
Constructed from durable stainless steel, all three strikers resist corrosion and maintain consistent striking surfaces through heavy use. The rubber insulator on each mallet maximizes metal-to-metal contact, yielding brighter articulation and longer sustain compared to standard mallets. This means more definition in multitrack sessions and clearer separation from other percussion elements in your mix. The included foldable nylon pouch keeps the set organized and portable without bulk.
Recording Versatility & Session Control
The graduated diameter range—1/8″, 3/16″, and 1/4″—covers a spectrum of dynamic control, from delicate articulation on small bells and vibraphone to deeper, fuller tones on larger instruments. All three strikers measure 9 inches long, providing consistent leverage and reach across the set, so you can swap sizes without readjusting grip or positioning. This consistency makes it faster to capture multiple takes and layer textures without rebalancing mallet weight or technique.
